Debora received a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University. Her fields of study include Education, Business and Human Sciences. She completed course work for a doctorate in Human Sciences. She is licensed or certified in education, social work, child care administration, child placing administration and family life education.
Ms. Phillips has served on state advisory committees for Texas Employment Commission, Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and Texas Commission of Health and Human Services. Ms. Phillips is the founding President and Cheif Executive Officer of Children’s Connections, Inc. Previously she was an early childhood Special Education teacher, a child care center director and administrator and a registered family home provider.
Debora has 16 years experience in helping thousands of birth & adoptive families have successful adoption experiences!

LeAnne received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master of Education degree from Texas Tech University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Certified Family Life Educator.
LeAnne has served on the board of parenting, child abuse, and substance abuse coalitions. Ms. Carnes serves as the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Children’s Connections, Inc.
LeAnne has 12 years experience in working with birth and adoptive famiiles to help build familes.
Children’s Connections Inc. has remote staff located throughout Texas to provide services to birth and adoptive families. These professional staff have expertise in adoption, case managment, parent education, human development, family studies, child abuse and juvenelle justice.
